Sounds too good to be true, I agree. Today, I misspelled the domain name of a website I wanted to visit, and I found OnlineDealer.net. The website is short on details, but it appears to be based in Ohio.

One of our customers did this same thing. He put out a press release and also advertised in his local paper and the response was overwhelming. This business model definitely has some disadvantages for the startup dealer, but compared to a traditional startup, it also has several advantages. There are a ton of car salespeople who think they can operate their own dealership, and some go on to do so, but something like this opens the door for the aspiring entrepreneurs who don’t have a bunch of cash to get started.
