Last week, Gyutae Park announced Internet Marketing Top Blogs, a modern day top sites list based on a handful of high profile metrics. Admittedly, I heard about this through the grapevine. Quadszilla commented that while the idea was interesting, the icon badge was a little ugly.

The badge is, of course, a great idea for backlinks if you can get traction on it. To be blunt, however, that badge is rather ugly. I’d have it redesigned by an artist.

I agree. This morning, I threw together two icons while I was reading emails and checking phone messages. I have yet to showcase my graphical talent on this website, so I jumped on this opportunity to maybe help somebody while helping myself.

I recreated the existing icon that WTW launched with the service, and pieced together a more colorful idea with slightly less information. Both are based upon a screen shot of Gyutae’s blog. I did not seek out a layered file, but now I do have a neat PSD that Gyutae may enjoy.
